Abbey's P.O.V
Dr- Miss Jonas?
Mum stood up next to me with her hand in mine, we walked up to her, then followed to normal room. I had been here last time when John hurt me.
Dr- How are you Abbey.
She asked, bringing up my file on her computer.
Abbey- N-not good.
I whispered.
She instantly looked at mum who explained why we were here.
Dr- oh sweetheart, have you spoken to police yet?
Abbey- no.
Mrs J- we've got different lawyers and they have asked for a list of test results, I'm willing to pay for anything they need.
Dr- I need to ask this, Do you believe these lawyers are going to be doing the right thing for you?
Abbey- they are going to do whatever it takes to charge him with as many things as possible.
She nodded and took the piece of paper off Mum.
Of course they'll do whatever they can, their son is making them. Yeah, Max called his parents and they've both joined together to create one of the scariest team of lawyers possible, not only are we charging john, we're charging the people that let him out on good behaviour, apparently that shouldn't have happened because of the history he had.
Yeah, I knew that already.
Dr- I'm going to need you to strip for me honey, now we will go down to another room first, do you want your mother to come?
I nodded and she smiled.
Dr- the room two down from here is where we're heading, I'll be there in five, you undress and cover yourself with the towel on the chair.
We went down and I undressed, then wrapped the towel around me, the doctor knocked and mum let her in.
Dr- okay, so it will be the same as last time honey, there are some other things I have to do, but it's all easy, non painful things.
I nodded and sat up.
When she was finished taking samples and doing stuff she got me to stand up so she could check my body for bruising and stuff.
When we had finished mum went out with the doctor and I got dressed, then went back to the room, we left and mum dropped me off at our apartment.
When I got up to our room Nick was in my face straight away.
Nick- he's dead, I swear to god if I see him he is dead.
His arms wrapped around me tight and I rested my head against his shoulder.
Nick- what did the doctor say?
Abbey- it's too early to know if i'm pregnant, but she gave me some needle and I took another tablet.
Nick- why didn't you tell me straight away, we're best friends.
Abbey- i couldn't, you were there, I didn't want you to blame yourself.
Nick- oh it wasn't my fault, it was the stupid judge who thought John was allowed out.
Abbey- yeah...
I mumbled.
Nick- has dad called our lawyers yet?
Abbey- no, they didn't help us last time, we have new ones.
Nick- Max's parents?
I nodded.
Nick- they're like, top in the business, how much are we paying them!
Abbey- we pay them for a few things, but they have jumped at the chance, I mean, i don't blame them, more publicity and they're doing it for Max, and Charlie.
Nick- true... Molly said that Charlie was telling Emma all about you, she looks up to you.
I smiled.
Abbey- yeah, max told me.
Nick- so, what are we doing today?
Abbey- Kev and Dani are coming over, I'm getting my hair cut.
Nick- when you say hair cut... how much hair is being cut.
He asked cautiously, knowing what was coming.
Abbey- I'm going short, I want a new look.
Nick- o-kay, as long as you don't look exactly like me...
I giggled.
Abbey- don't worry, we'll be fine.
Nick- what else?
Abbey- going through the boxes I got thismorning with every item from my clothing line, then I gotta study for our theory exams.
Nick- cool, so I can watch a movie while you do all that.
Abbey- Step Up.
I said, grinning.
Nick- finnnnne!
