Once all the captives learned the ropes, the guards spared no time in taking us to our designated stations. The guards took us all as a group, dropping each one of us at a station. The next ones up were Lucas, Steven and the so called Logan. Down a trail of pipes and machines with colorful buttons, the guard showed them which machine they would be operating and how to work the buttons. When they were finished, they took us back up to the main floor where a woman in a knee-length dress was waiting patiently. This was Miley's stop; the woman smirked when she saw the thin hesitant girl.
"We got a lot of work to do for you." She commented as she walked in circles around the frightened girl. The woman gripped Miley's arm and pulled her away down another hallway. Miley's fearful hazel eyes looked back at us, bowing her head she followed the woman.
Then it was Nina's turn.
The guards walked down to the left side of the main floor, where a sliding door, it slid open as we approached it. Off his clipboard, he read off the names of the ones being dropped off. "Nina Dobrev, Lucy Gomez, Ariana Grande, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, and Ian Somerhalder the computer programmers." He motioned the seven of us that were left in the room. He quickly worked to explain their tasks. "The remaining two, follow me." He ordered as he walked past me and the blond girl.
Without a word, he led us out of the main floor and up a hidden elevator. When the elevator rung, he waited until we got out before he took the lead again and he made us follow him down another hallway, until we got to some French doors. "Step in," He motioned.
"Ahh, you have arrived." A black haired woman spun around in her chair. She rose from her chair and walked closer to us. "I'm Dr. Geloito." She said, her voice was now familiar. "You two have one of the important jobs here," She continued on to say as she pressed a button on her remote control and the wall beside us rolled over to a completely different style. This one held guns, and other equipment of that sort. Dr. Geloito slowly paced herself to the wall, she grabbed a black belt and handed each of us one. "If your friends fail to do their duties, it is your responsibility to make them return to their jobs before my guards step in." She said as she began to hand things to us. "When all of you were unconscious we took the liberty of setting a chip into your systems that allows us to do this." She walked up to Brenda and slowly placed her hand on her stomach, without a warning the blond went down to the ground as she cried out in pain.
She clutched onto her stomach as her tears freely flowed down her cheeks.
Before I knew it, there was a sharp sting that ran through my stomach as though it was about to turn inside-out. I looked down to see Dr. Geloito's hand on my stomach, I fell to my knees as the pain took over my body, and I held my stomach for dear life as it ached.
"Now, that you have experienced it for first hand. I want you to know that if those young people you call friends don't do their job I expect you to touch them as I did, if not I will hurt you." She warned us. When the pain finally wore off, she made us get back up and she gave us the last items.
"I don't want to be here," Brenda spoke up. "I want to go home."
"I'm afraid that won't happen, sweetheart." Dr. Geloito grinned, pleased.
"My parents are going to eventually know that I'm missing. You can't keep us here." She cried, and then she went headfirst at the cruel woman as I stood aside and watched. But before Brenda got far the woman pressed a button on her control and Brenda went down to the ground. "Call Liliana," She spat at the guard behind me and he went off to find Liliana.
When he returned, Liliana and Miley were with him. Dr. Geloito smirked and motioned Liliana to her. "It is time for Miley to show of what she has learned."
"Excellent." Liliana grinned right beside the Dr. and she motion Miley towards the body of Brenda. "Show Dr. Geloito what we have been working on,"
Miley's hazel eyes bounced back between me and the two women, her eyes were filled with unshed tears. She positioned herself before Brenda but then she froze.
"Come on, child. Show her." Liliana yelled at her. "No hesitation was the first lesson. Now show her."
Miley sorrowfully looked down at Brenda and just as Brenda was regaining consciousness. Miley brought out a black object. A gun. Her lips quivered as she pointed the riffle towards the helpless girl on the ground.
Brenda eyes widened in horror, Miley apologetically looked at her.
"Do it, you're a sweeper. This is your job!" Liliana screeched "DO IT!"
BOOM.
Brenda was gone.
